Abbi Gundi Falls (Abbi Falls), located at about 21 Km from Sakleshpur bus stand, Manjahalli (Magjahalli) Waterfalls is one of the most gorgeous Sakleshpur tourist places. At the foothills of the Pushpagiri Mountains in northern Coorg, the Kumaradhara River falls off a cliff nestled amidst splendid greenery to form this Manjahalli Falls as a picturesque location. The river then continues its course through Kukke Subrahmanya to ultimately merge with the Netravati river. The monsoon months and the post monsoon months up to November/December are the best season to visit this waterfall as it gets dried up during the summer months. There is no entry fee but the visitors have to register their names in the registry before entering the Waterfalls area. The waterfall can be visited from 8:00 am in the morning to 5:30 pm in the evening. It is a good adventure-cum-leisure picnic site. But be careful about the slippery rocks beneath the streams. We visited in November and the falls and the streams were still lively and charming.
